FaceBook Strikes Again: Palin Places Senator Obama at the Crime Scene

Two quotes from the FB post:
"Barack Obama was part of the problem while in Congress. Senator Obama pushed the fiscally irresponsible measures that Democrats, who held the majority, advanced while holding the government’s purse strings. And now, as President, he’s not just one of the pack anymore as a mere contributor to the problem – he now leads the problem. We are sick and tired of President Obama pointing his finger and screeching through his blame game about what he “inherited.” Up until 18 months ago he was fully engaged in that Congressional herd mentality of the Left as he just went with the flow, adding to the debt and deficit, instead of bucking his party’s leadership to stop the recklessness. (Did you ever hear him as an independent voice standing up and speaking out against his Democrat party’s overspending and over reach? Come to think of it, did you ever hear of his congressional record at all? For the life of me I can’t think of any time he used his bully pulpit as a sitting U.S. Senator to lead free market, equality-respecting pro-private sector efforts, nor to change up actions he now conveniently condemns. He could have refudiated them all.)"
…………….
"We’ll all be feeling the pinch, but the ones who will be hit hardest by this massive tax hike will be America’s small business owners – the businesses that create up to 70% of all jobs in this country. According to a recent report by the Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation, small business owners will pay over half the taxes raised when the Democrats increase the top two tax brackets. In an already anemic jobless recovery, the last thing government should do is to impose even higher tax burdens on job creators. Instead of hurting “the rich,” such measures would end up hurting the unemployed."

They Got Her Dead to Rights: Sarah Palin Supersizes Fries

Below is a something I posted on Oct. 25, 2008. It's still pretty funny. I didn't mention who wrote it. It was most likely Iowahawk.

They Got Her Dead to Rights
Sarah Palin Supersizes Fries
By David Axelrod, Associated Press
Media
Bubble, Oct. 23 -- Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin
has come under fire in recent days after it was revealed that earlier
this year, a drive-through meal purchased by the Alaskan Governor
contained more than the usual number of french fries.
The discovery was made during a routine Associated Press search of
drive-through security camera footage obtained from the McDonald's
restaurant at 130 Front St. in Juneau, less than a mile from the
governor's mansion. On a tape from Feb. 15 of this year, a woman
closely resembling Palin can be seen speaking intently for several
seconds, pausing, and then nodding her head and smiling. According to
lip readers hired by the AP, the woman may very well have been saying,
"Oh, you betcha." And in subsequent interviews, restaurant staff have
identified the woman as the governor and confirmed that on the night in
question, Palin very likely would have been asked about her desired
number of fries.
After days of controversy and several evasions ("I sure don't
remember specific details about a fast food run I made last winter.
Aren't you being a little silly?"), Palin yesterday acknowledged
responsibility for her part in the culinary misappropriation widely
known as Deliciousgate.
"Okay, I remember now. Trig was kicking away something fierce, and I
really had a craving for a double cheeseburger," the former beauty
queen and killer of defenseless animals admitted. "Usually I try to eat
pretty healthy, but every once in a while you gotta treat yourself. And
I figured the little guy wouldn't mind. Todd said he wasn't really
hungry, but he could eat some fries maybe. So when the gal asked if I
wanted to supersize it, I figured we could just split the fries. Those
things are so tasty."
During an appearance in Indianapolis today, President Obama --
delivering his speech in front of his usual backdrop, an enormous
solid-gold statue of himself -- scoffed at the greasy slob's miserable
excuse for her career-ending irresponsibility.
"Sarah Palin says she's just an ordinary working-class American.
[laughter] Now it turns out she eats strips of potato that have been
fried and salted. And if somebody offers her more of them for a
slightly higher price... that's just fine with her. [boos] Go
along, get along, eh, Governor? Are you going to throw away the
American people's money too? We cannot afford to have this woman in the
White House. Er, I mean a cancer-ravaged heartbeat away from the White
House."
Pres. Obama then emitted a discreet puff of arugula-scented flatulence, curing a nearby blind child

Breitbart on Tea Party Demonization and Palin Derangement Syndrome by the MSM
Andrew B. has increased to $100.000 his reward for anyone who can prove that the N-word was used by anti-ObamaCare demonstrators at the capitol. The crickets are deafening.

America, "Is the Greatest Experiment in Human History" Behar Mockingly Replies, "Yeah, So What."
***********************************************
h/t: Pundit and Pundette
I've never seen PG on any talk show outside of Fox before. Judging from this Behar will be sorry she introduced Pam to the wider world. It is typical of MSM talking head shows in that they feel they need 3 liberals to overpower one lone conservative. They refuse to talk about things that you might think would be of importance to those who claim to value human rights and women's rights. They treat clitorectomies as a taboo subject. But Pan is not afraid to discuss this or honor killings.
But PG had them acting a little crazy. It was funny and scary the way Ron Reagan, Jr. spit out the words, "I would lighten up on me if I were you." A little bit of me wondered if he was threatening her with physical retaliation just because of the obviously large amount of anger he exhibited. But I imagine he will just do an interpretive dance mocking Pam.
But the definitive moment was when Pam said of America, "It's the most magnificent experiment in human history." and Behar answered with a snide and demeaning, "Yeah, so what." That little exchange dramatically defines the two sides. Which side are you on?

Convenient Formula for Slime Bag Dems: Opposition to RINO = Eating Your Own
Olberman is just trawling for insults to use against conservatives. Didn't support that RINO? That means you're low enough to eat your own. Which leaves me wondering how a RINO ever became my own outside of KO's imagination.
Then KO perseverates about the Tea Party people turning on Sarah Palin. I read a lot of the right blogosphere and I have to wonder what he is basing that on besides wishful thinking. Many of us wish she were not stumping for McCain. But my sense is that the right understands that is her choice and we are not holding it against her. SP will not gratuitously turn on her ex-running mate. And the right has not turned on SP. The circumstances are not perfect. But everything in life is not clear cut black and white. Some situations are betwixt and between and you do the best that you can. Conservatives have not turned their backs on SP. But maybe lefties are wired to deal with things that way so that's where KO's mind automatically goes.

Tina Brown: Destroyer of American Culture
*****************************************************
The subject of this clip is Sarah Palin. But I'm going to get some feelings about Tina Brown off my chest
Before Brown took over the New Yorker it was a weekly treasure. It was full of long, well written articles about a wondrous variety of subjects. And they always had short fiction by good writers from all over the world. I would rather it had died than it suffer what she and her heirs subjected it to. Tina Brown took the great American institution and nearly turned it into People Magazine. Those who followed her have made it a mouthpiece for the DNC that on occasion has good writing inside.
The woman has little to offer as a talking head. She's mealy mouthed. It appears she has never thought about the subject under discussion, so, if someone else makes the least bit of sense she can't keep herself from agreeing and has no come back. But she is probably just no good at thinking on her feet.

dKos Leads Us Up the Tower of Babel

7--Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
8--So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
Genesis 11:7 and 8
I just read what dKos had to say about the clip of Sarah Palin below. One statement made by the kossack who wrote it was: “Sarah Palin says that America must seek rededicate itself to God and "seek his will" to solve "the great challenges" we face today.” In other words he might have listened to the audio clip but he did not understand what SP said. It does not seem that it would be difficult to understand. She didn’t use many big words. I guess this is just an example of how hate and intolerance can warp the mind. SP did not say anybody must do anything. She said if our leaders approached our problems with the humble attitude she describes then our country will be “safer and more prosperous.” The kossack attributed to SP nearly the opposite in meaning to what her words actually carry. Maybe if the kossack could release the hate he could regain his ability to understand plain, simple English.
The kossack also wrote, ” To Sarah Palin, freedom means the freedom to ignore the First Amendment, the freedom to unite church and state, and the freedom to impose her religious fanaticism throughout America and the world.” More lies. SP nowhere speaks of any church. She does not even mention any specific religion. And she nowhere says anyone must do anything. She merely says that if we act from a certain attitude certain results will follow. I am lead to believe that the intense misshaping of SP’s meaning must result either from a white heat of rabid hate or just cold, damn-the-consequences calculation.
It is possible that the Kossack understood SP all along but feels no guilt or shame in lying about SP. Maybe he is willing to brazenly lie to further some ‘great cause.’ Either way he is behaving in an antisocial and uncivilized manner. A civil society will inevitably deteriorate towards anarchy with too many such dishonest agents. I am reminded of the Tower of Babel from the Old Testament.

From my own experience I know that Sarah Palin is right. When I was in my late twenties life was closing in on me and I was deeply convinced I would not live to see my thirtieth birthday. It was suggested to me that I develop a spiritual way of life to end the increasing insanity and decreasing freedom in my life. I was an atheist but I saw no other outs. So I began to bring prayer and meditation and spiritual principles into my life. That was 34 years ago and I have experienced more freedom and happiness since than I ever had before. Contrary to what went before I began to develop my intuitive side. A faith that answers would be provided brought me more and better answers than my former unspiritual self ever found. And resources and supply of material things have flowed into my life. Any reader of my blog or my comments on other sites might detect an unspiritual angry and sarcastic edge. God willing that will continue to be refined out of me. But the point is that a change of attitude profoundly changed my life.

PALIN: Oh, No She Didn't
*************************************************************
I have taken this clip from the Daily kos. I didn't even read what they had to say about it. But it was probably the opposite of what I think. At this point in America's history I'm glad to hear a political leader being so explicit on the subject. Ten years ago, even six years ago I would have liked a leader to have such a stance but felt uncomfortable with them being this public with it. This would not be the reason I would vote for SP. But it's a nice sweetner. And I could still end up preferring someone else: it is not sufficient reason to vote for a candidate. I could even vote for a nonChristian, even an atheist or a deist. In fact I probably have voted for more than one in my life.
There will be those who will say that SP made this statement purely for calculated political reasons. My many experiences with people of deeply held faith keeps me from leaping to this conclusion.
This will be much discussed. I predict that SP will spend much less time talking about her faith and her church membership than Barack Obama did. And she will receive none of the tolerance and understanding from the MSM that was showered on Mr. Obama.
