Welcome to Chris Monson's Blog.

I am Chris's father Chuck Monson. As you probably know Chris passed away from an accident in January 2011. But his blog is still going strong. I look at it every day. I suppose his blog will be here for a long time. This blog gets quite a few views everyday. This is Chris's last blog.Like all of his blogs it is interesting and entertaining. He posted items that were spiritual, political, historical, and musical. Chris always ended with some pretty girls and pretty cars.

It may interest you to know that Chris's ashes will be placed in the ground, with his mother's ashes, at the Arlington National Cemetery on September 13, 2011 at 11 am. The grave site is a couple of blocks from the main entrance to the cemetery. The Washington Monument and the Pentagon can be seen from the site. I have spent sometime there getting used to the view, as my ashes will be there soon, and for a long time.

The picture of Chris is fairly recent. I think he liked it. I do.

Hello Chuck.
I'm a first time visitor to snaggletoothie of the Loyal Opposition after I searched Blogger profiles for people who list Flesh And Bone amongst their favourite films.
Chris was one of only a handle of people returned by my search and it's a shame I couldn't get to ask his opinion of my favourite film.
I'm glad to see you're looking after the blog I'm sure Chris appreciates it.

God bless you; I hope you are doing okay Mr. Monson. Snaggletoothie (as I fondly think of him still) is sorely missed.

I have been away from this part of the blogosphere for quite a while so was going through my favorites list. I am so sad to hear of Chris's passing, and sorry I did not know of it at the time. But please accept my sympathies - I'm sure Chris is up there helping us win this election.
