Greg Gutfeld and Laura Ingraham on NBC Nostalgia for a Sadam Who Was Growing More Moderate

.

h/t: NewsBusted

As the election approaches insanity in the media multiplies. Our economic problems were caused by the Iraq war. The more unemployment the better. Sadam was becoming more moderate. Obama and the MSM have amnesia about Obama's opposition to the surge in Iraq. A long time serving member of Congress cannot figure out for herself that it is unethical for her to give tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars to her grandkids: unless we tell her as each dollar is handed over it is unfair for us to expect basic decency from her.

Obama's message on the economy: "I'm focused like a laser on escaping any responsibility. And It could be worse. I could be unemloyed or my caddy could be unembloyed or Michelle's bellboy could be unemployed. If any of us end up unemployed you'll know it's time for your preident to take the economy seriously. And never forget it's easy to make up stories that blame everything on Republicans."

KRAUTHAMMER: VOTERS NOT JUST ANGRY AT OBAMA, IT’S ALL DEMOCRATS

.

Runner Up Comment of the Day

The nation demands the impossible: quick, painless solutions to long-term, structural problems. While they’re running for office, politicians of both parties encourage this kind of magical thinking.

That’s a lie right there. Only the dems do this. They promise that they can cut taxes, increase spending, reduce the deficit and give you free healthcare.

Republicans generally don’t promise these things. I love how liberals will talk about the “hard choices” of “reforming an unsustainable system of entitlements” and blaming the dumb electorate on not wanting to do so – when it is the dems who promise to “protect” those entitlement programs from the big-bad republicans every election.

Where’s Eugene then? When does he side with republicans who consistently talk about reforming SS, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare and the like? He is supporting the dems who are promising easy answers to hard problems.

Talk about projection and intellectual dishonesty.

Gee, Eugene. Your guy Barry and the boys have raped and pillaged the treasury. In addition, they have salted the earth so that the necessary reforms to restore this country to productivity and standing will take years.

You think we’re “brats” and “racists”? That’s like telling a rape victim they deserve what they got.

In the end you and all your power hungry lib friends are all about taking something that doesn’t belong to you. You didn’t earn it. You don’t deserve.

And most of you are completely insane to boot.

Buh bye. See you in November, chump.

Comment Of the Day

“…how they just assumed it would behave like previous recessions”

Ceteris paribus. That’s Latin for: “we are all morons.”

The economy just sort of magically produces wealth, and nothing can ever change that.

So why let all those “greedy” business owners “steal” all the “free” profit the economy magically generates to buy yachts to waterski behind? Of course nothing but good things can happen when the “generous” government confiscates that extra money and “invests” it in ways that their minds (pristinely unpolluted by knowledge of the evil business world) know – just know – will benefit society.

What could possibly go wrong?
