This is interesting information. It is unfortunate that it is unlikely anyone will be able to break through the press ban on deeply questioning anything about Obama. The white House's hostility to questions and open discussion will also give unending life to such speculation. I do know from my reading of history that cruel and systematic torture of subject populations was widespread within the British Empire in response to independence movements.
