A recent breakthrough in the social sciences was the discovery of the Doppler-douche Effect. It has been attacked by reporters, news commentators and other Democrats as excessively inexact and subjective. But its authors feel that Democrats lack the perspective to properly understand and test this basic natural law.

It can be best summarized thus:

As he approaches a conservative, Obama appears even more douche-like than a normal person. But as he recedes there is a palpable sense of relief coupled with a rejuvenation of the belief that life has meaning and that it might not remain too costly and legally burdensome to hire American citizens.

A related prediction from the social sciences states there is a 75% probably that Algore will have almost no hair on the top of his head within 5 to 15 years.
