Today's 'Impervious to Reality' Award Goes to Chris Matthews who Still Thinks Obama's One of Our Smartest Presidents

Matthews just can't understand why someone would criticize a president as smart as Obama. I am sure history will not remember Obama as particularly intelligent. He might be remembered as the president who made Nixon look honest by comparison or the president who did the most for our enemies and the least for our allies. There are enough questionable issues that might end up in an Obama impeachment. Strangely, Matthews keeps asking what problem Obama's critics could have with his approach to terrorism. I think that we are under threat from people would like to kill us and will if they get a chance. I do not have a sense that Obama sees it that way. I think that Obama is OK with Americans dying as long as no one says anything that any Muslim is uncomfortable with hearing. I am convinced that if he took the real threats that exist serious he would not leave our borders wide open and he would not have someone as incompetent as Napolitano in charge of DHS. By keeping Napolitano there he is effectively saying, "Keep setting bombs and shooting people because I won't fire Janet until she makes me look like a complete idiot."

Chris Matthews Thinks He Can Marginalize Someone By Calling Them 'White' or 'Angry'

In truth anger is a naturally occurring human emotion that arises in response to injustice or a perceived threat to one's existence or threat to one's most basic needs. It is a useful part of self-defense and helps provide more energy for reacting to threats.
I am always facinated by all of the lefties' accusations that the Tea Party Movement is motivated by anger at the election of a black man. For one thing I bet there are many at the Tea Parties who voted for Obama and I imagine many of them are angry about being lied to. I have seen video clips of many speakers at Tea Parties and never once heard a one of them speak about race. So, for Matthews and the other lying liberals to be correct, there must be a lot of secret meetings going on somewhere where the true agenda is discussed. But I have no reason to believe that there are secret meetings. And I see no reason to hope that Matthews and his lying friends will ever speak the truth.
Remember it was a Republican who first spoke about judging people by the content of their character rather than by the color of their skin. The 'progressives' seem dead set against that movement forward in our civic life.

I just found this clip at DU. It's Chris Matthews playing dumb as he sort of interviews MB just before the recent presidential election. Matthew slowed his roll because he knew she would clean his clock if he acted like he knows what's going on. If only America had listened to MB instead of Matthews.
