Andrew Breitbart at Philidelphia Tea Party

If you wonder why there has been a full out attack from the MSM on Andrew Breitbart, just listen to what he has to say here. The Democrats and the faux reporters they control will do or say almost anything to keep people from hearing what AB has to say. In their own ranks they have drowned out what AB has to say by endless, unsupported accusations of racism. When Pelosi and Rachel Maddow say someone is a racist they actually mean that they are truly afraid the American people will listen to their target has to say.

Racist Bigotry From Speaker at an NAACP Banquet

This clip was uncovered and released by the ever impressive Andrew Breitbart. When will people learn not to mess with Andy Bright?? ACORN could have warned the NAACP if ACORN had survived their encounter with Andy.

Race Relations from the Heart of Krazietown

Just out of curiosity I stopped by dKos to see what they had to say about the arrest of Prof. Gates. There is almost no mention of the incident on their front page. There is only one major story about it. The focus seems to about Gates’ victimhood and the kos kid’s unending perception of the eternal victimhood of blacks in America. Just because of the small amount of space given to this story, I suspect that dKos does not see it as good for advancing their agenda.
I saw a funny thing in a ‘rescued diary’ titled, 'The DeHumanization of President Obama.' The first two sentences of that diary go, “The virtual lynching of black men has become a fine art in today's media. It is no longer cool to do actual lynching.....much too messy and could get you put in jail.” I readily admit I could not read any more. I was laughing much too hard. If what America’s media has done to Barack Obama is virtual lynching, I wonder if all of mankind worshiping him as a god would even be enough for these fools. With incredibly few exceptions no one in the media will even press him on his endless nonanswers. If Obama were ever to get the same treatment from the press that George Bush received, these whiners would have an attack of the vapors and announce that the press has begun a virtual genocide of American blacks.

Booker T. Washington Explains Obama and Gates

“There is (a) class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.… There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public…”

-Booker T. Washington

David Shuster Redefines 'Racism'

It sounds like a joke but he seems very serious. In order to be accused of racism by this clown the only requirement seems to be that you say something he disagrees with.
As Obama's popularity plummets the air is going to be filled with charges of racism. When lefties feel threatened emotional blackmail flows like water. Which will no doubt just turn off more people, thus causing even lower popularity which will bring more emotional blackmail, and so on and so on.

Buchanan and Maddow on Sotomayor

It seems that Maddow is strongly in favor of racial discrimination but does not trust anyone but herself to choose the victims.

Some Democrats Just Can't Control Their Racist Tendencies

Evan Coyne Maloney wrote: "NYS Legislators Fire Nearly 200 Workers Over Race 7 July 2009 @ 10:40PM
"Fredric U. Dicker—regarded as the pre-eminent political reporter in New York’s state capital—recently published a column decrying the complete breakdown of the state legislature, which has been unable to conduct business for the past month.
Buried way down in Dicker’s piece, starting at the 19th paragraph, we learn:
"During the first five months of this year, with the Senate under the control of its first African-American majority leader, [State Senator Malcolm] Smith, top Democrats bemoaned the lack of minority Senate staffers.
"But instead of trying to recruit new hires, they fired nearly 200 almost exclusively white workers and replaced them with a large number of minority employees, many of whom were seen by their fellow workers to be unskilled at their new jobs.
"The move produced severe racial tensions, made worse by the fact that, as a high-level Democratic staffer confided, “We’ve been told to only hire minorities.'’
"So, nearly 200 people lose their jobs in New York State because of their race? And not at the hands of some evil corporation, but our own elected officials?
"It’s quite telling that, in our political age, mass firings can still happen because of one’s race. It’s even more telling that—the only time I’ve seen this story get any coverage at all—it was in the 19th paragraph of an otherwise unrelated column."

Good Reading on the Net

A few of my favorite logs have some great posts up.
Jane Q. Republican has two good pieces about swine flu, pandemics and reflections on the MSM’s response to the latest outbreak. Jane gives a list of congressmen co-sponsoring a bill to audit the Fed. My congressman isn’t there and so here’s one more reason he might not get my vote (are you listening John Campbell?). Jane also has a detailed post about Mexican immigration law and why we might learn something from them. This is one of the things Jane does best: She does a lot of research on a topic and then lays it out for you in clear, easy to read prose.
Pundit and Pundette have a funny and sad piece about Tom Shales coverage of the Prez’s press conference. Shales glows with admiration about Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow. Here a sad/funny quote about people on the right like me, “The disbelievers will still be unconvinced, but there appear to be relatively few of them, and many are just the predictable strident voices of the kind of partisan pedantry that Obama has said he abhors.” Some of the sadness comes from the willingness of Shales and Obama (who once promised to the president of all Americans) to summarily write off between fifty and a hundred million Americans. P & P also have a post about Obama’s plans to ration health care. This section is sad because it is so true, “When it comes to human life, Obama takes a utilitarian point of view. He measures the value of a baby's life by the legal implications rescuing it might create. May God save us from the kind of "independent group" his administration will create to decide for us who is worthy, and under what circumstances would continuing medical care constitute throwing good money after bad.
“Don't forget that for Obama, some people are merely temporarily alive.” But this is not a summary. The whole piece deserves reading especially since this is another issue totally ignored by the worshipful dinosaur media.
There is also a short thing with a link to some video of a Kansas City protest of a few thousand people who take issue with some Obama policies. This good sized demonstration was ignored by the MSM. Yet they so often find space for a couple of dozen paid protesters from ACORN. How could it happen that people whose job is to know what’s going on be so out of touch?
What I like about Pundit and Pundette, besides their great taste in music and their brazen admiration of Mark Steyn and their beautiful layout, is that they write about topics that aren’t written about elsewhere. And when they cover the same topics as everyone else they approach it in a new and different way that I would never have expected. Reading them makes me feel so utterly mundane but I’d never stop because the site gives my synapses a surge.
And so it goes in Shreveport today has much to offer the conservative in search of truth. There is a fact finding piece that details some of the untruths spread by the Prez in his press conference yesterday. Then comes an important piece about a speech The Man and his teleprompter gave for Holocaust Remembrance Day. This line will keep you reading, “Obama's view of the genocide is a great deal different than pretty much everyone else's.” And a full reading of the post left me more aware than ever just how differently Obama sees the world than any of our leaders since at least Teddy Roosevelt. A new approach isn’t necessarily bad. But this one might not be the best thing to happen to us. And Attlee and Wilson will begin to shine by comparison. Pat also has a post about Larry Summers and Obama’s approaching health care rationing. Best read this because the dinosaur media are not inclined to cover the issue. Next is a post about reconciliation (also called the nuclear option), its history and why it is inappropriate for legislation that brings as much large and fundamental change as health care reform. Though Arlen might have rendered this a nonissue. But the lack of perspective of the Obamabots is unsettling. Finally, Pat has a great video that puts the proposed Obama budget cuts in perspective. I would suggest that to truly lead by example the First Family decrease the $50 a pound steaks and jetted in pizza. They could eat some hamburger, hot dogs and mac and cheese and cut back on the endless millions spent jetting around to lecture instead of listen.
At insert clever s. logan here Suzanna has a post about Edmund Burke. Many years ago Burke’s ‘Reflections on the Revolution in France’ was often cited as a fundamental work of conservative thinking. It is also considered by many to be one of the great books of the Western tradition. I have not read it yet. But it is a good idea for the near future. Suzanna’s post offers many quotations from Burke. And as usual he always sounds sensible and level headed.
My favorite post ever from Suzanna at insert clever s.logan here was the recent one where she described her upcoming mission work in Atlanta’s inner city. She movingly told the story of how she came to make this decision. I was inspired and felt a palpable uplifting of my enjoyment of life and people for a couple of days after reading that post. She needs financial help to get her through and one can contribute in the upper right hand corner of her site. She also needs our prayers.
At Jo-Joe Politico there is a post about the swine flu and the media reaction. Joe does not say this but I suspect that the dinosaur media are hyping this story so much just to give Obama some cover from his ongoing incompetence and the many Americans demonstrating in opposition to some of his policies. Then Joe has a piece chronicling some of Obama’s larger mistakes since taking office. Joe calls it Obama’s war on achievement. Once again I’m not speaking for Joe but I would have preferred to lay off the criticism of Obama for one or two hundred days and let him have a honeymoon. But after he pushed through the ‘stimulus’ bill with no discussion or deliberation I felt an obligation to give voice to so much reality that the dinosaur media has taken to ignoring. Historians are going to have to read blogs to know what happened during these dark ages of censorship. Finally we come to my favorite recent post from Joe. It is a number of quotes from congress people and senators that demonstrates where the impetus behind banking and credit deregulation and the promotion of unsafe loans came from. It’s some pretty damning stuff and you won’t come across it on CBS or NBC.
Betsy’s Page is good today. There is an examination of an agreement among the union owned Obama administration, the UAW and GM. The union and Obama with their GM stock get most of the equity and profits and the private bond holders get screwed. Normally (if financial genius Barack Obama weren’t president) the bond holders would be taken care of before stock holders would be given a share. I guess the main lesson is to minutely examine the political landscape before investing. It might even pay to listen to Rush.
Betsy also has an interesting post on the effect Obama’s presidency has been having on the teaching about the Civil War, student behavior in class and the gap in test scores between black and nonblack students. Some teachers feel that they are only now able to talk honestly about the issues of the Civil War. I’m not going to try and explain why any school would evenwant to employ a teacher so easily swayed to dishonesty. As for students testing much better when a man of their color is president, how much of a stretch is it from that little racist gem to the genocidal idea that life would just be so much better if there were only black people in the world. [All of the opinions here are mine not Betsy’s.]

Racism On Steroids

Recently NRO wrote about a race based voter discrimination suit that DOJ won. It was especially notable since, “. . . the Clinton administration’s Civil Rights Division consistently refused to take action.” And, “This is probably one of the worst cases of intentional voting discrimination that the Justice Department has prosecuted since the 1960s. But the lawsuit was filed only after a vicious internal fight in the Civil Rights Division. Left-wing career lawyers in the Voting Section made it abundantly clear that they didn’t want to use the Voting Rights Act to protect white voters, no matter how egregious the violations.”
The next five paragraphs quoted from the NRO piece set out many of the facts of the case:
“The court decision shows that Brown had his own local version of Tammany Hall, and local election officials followed his orders. This included publishing in the local newspaper a list of 174 white Democratic voters whose eligibility he intended to challenge if they tried to vote in an upcoming election. According to the court, Brown compiled the list based on the individuals’ perceived lack of support for black candidates. One voter testified that she was so intimidated she didn’t vote. Another testified that she was so scared she felt she couldn’t approach the polls alone.
“The court also found that Brown took measures to ensure that absentee ballots from black voters were automatically counted even if they didn’t comply with Mississippi law, while absentee ballots from white voters with the same deficiencies were challenged and not counted. He even reviewed many absentee ballots the night before an election, placing notes on them saying which should be counted and which should be rejected.
“One victim, whose absentee ballot was basically stolen by the defendants and whose signature on the application and ballot envelope were obviously forged, was brought in a second time to testify after she was confronted by a member of the local Democratic party following her initial testimony. The witness was told that “we black people need to stick together” and was urged to testify that she “probably didn’t understand what [she was] being asked” during the first go-around.
“The court also found that Brown recruited black individuals to run for office against white incumbents despite knowing that they didn’t meet residency requirements; refused to appoint whites as poll workers; and sent out Democratic party members to give unrequested “assistance” to black voters, marking their ballots for them and telling them how to vote. All of this was intended to dilute the voting strength of white voters and to achieve his goal, which he openly expressed — “that all of the county’s elected officials should be black.”
“Even after the lawsuit was filed and Brown’s lawyers told the federal court that Brown wouldn’t interfere in any ongoing elections, he continued his pervasive racial discrimination. In fact, he told a federal observer that “I don’t care what the court says. I am still primarily responsible for running this election.” That’s exactly the kind of defiance that white officials engaged in during the 1960s, when the Voting Rights Act was first passed.”
Many in DOJ wanted nothing to do with this case and it is conceivable that it might never have been filed. Except that, “the honest trial attorneys on the case did their best to ensure that the division’s political leadership knew about Brown’s outrageous conduct, and litigation was ultimately approved. Thanks to their hard work, the court found that the defendants had “intentionally discriminated against the county’s white voters in violation of § 2 of the Voting Rights Act,” “engaged in improper, and in some instances fraudulent conduct,” and “committed blatant violations of state election laws . . . for the purpose of diluting white voting strength.” These trial attorneys endured significant criticism and abuse from their colleagues for their work on the case and probably jeopardized their career advancement.”
All of this proves to me that liberals have no problem with racism. They just don’t want certain select groups to suffer from racism. Elsewhere far too many of them really don’t mind if racism abounds. They have what amounts to racism on steroids. They have worked to give the word racist unusually nasty connotations and then apply it without evidence to anyone they disagree with. And then when an egregious case of racism appears they don’t mind people suffering from racism as long as it isn’t one of their protected special interest groups. It is Orwellian doublespeak racism that they oppose. But, plainly they have no problem being a racist they just don’t want it called that.

Wolf Blitzer Attacks Republican Party For The Color Of Their Skin

Racism is alive and well on CNN. I'm not precisely sure what his exact point is. Would he not allow Steele to have the job because he's black? Is there a certain number of black people the Republicans have to put in that room before they can give that job to Steele? The race card is the last one in the deck.
What is obvious is that Blitzer judges people by the color of their skin rather than by the content of their character. I'ts also obvious that he will go to strange, twisted lengths to make the Republican Party look bad. Not the least pretense of fairness or objectivity here.

"The Black Senate Seat" Another Orwell Award Winner

Laura Washington has written this about Barack Obama's senate seat:
"Bye bye, black Senate seat! The political blackbirds are singing a swan song for the hopes of keeping a U.S. Senate seat in African-American hands. The Rod Blagojevich implosion may have dealt that cause a fatal blow.
Last week's stunning pay-to-play charges led to calls around the nation for a special election to choose President-elect Barack Obama's successor.
That possibility has provoked outrage among black community leaders and politicians. Not so fast, they are saying.
Last month, the Concerned Clergy of Illinois demanded that the governor appoint a "qualified" African American "who can fill this vacancy and who has the capacity to be re-elected when [Obama's] term ends in 2010." The problem, as I wrote then, is that black leaders were at odds on who should get the nod."
So Laura and the Concerned Clergy of Illinois get an Orwell Award for furthering the perversion of the word "racist." The word means discriminating against someone based on their race and has been a term of opprobrium until lefties got a hold of it. They have perverted it into meaning something bad if it is pro-white but very acceptable if it is anti-white. They are pimping the language into meaninglessness for their own petty, selfish ends.

The Book of the Obamassiah

This is all from Hot Air.com and it was too funny and insightful to not post.

The Book of The Obamassiah
Chapter I

The Obamassiah shall reveal himself to us by his teachings, which will be the spoken word in the form of the finest silk and silver.

Do not fear if the words of the Obamassiah are not at first clear, you need only to hear them and believe. Be not afraid if the feeling of a cool breeze runs up one’s leg. Do not fear if the words of his glory remove you from your senses and fainting occurs.

Our savior shall become known to us by the wreath of arugala upon his head and his ears for they shall take the form of the handles of a jug of the finest wine.

The Book of The Obamassiah
Chapter II

The Commandments of the Obamassiah are nine but this is a living document and changes are made as needed.

I. Thou shalt not speak the middle name of the Obamassiah. To do so exposes thine as a racist and it shall not be tolerated.

II. Thou shalt not mention past associations of the Obamassiah. To do so exposes thine as a racist. For despite any recent or current friendship his holiness may have with them, he was only a child when they ran afoul of the law. Or he missed that sermon.

III. Thou shalt not mention praise of the Obamassiah by murderers and tyrants. To do so exposes thine as a racist, it is a sign that thine has truly lost one’s bearings.

IV. Thou shalt not mention the schooling of the Obamassiah at any point in his existence. To do so exposes thine as a racist.

V. Thou shalt not question the Obamassiah more than eight times. To do so exposes thine as a racist. For the time of his holiness is of a value beyond your own.

VI. Thou shalt not question the past of the Obamassiah family arrival or his birth. To do so exposes thine as a racist. For events in time matter not if they occur differently than his holiness speaks of them. It matters only that you believe.

VII. Thou shalt not question the words of the Obamassiah’s spouse. For if her words mirror those of the past associations of his holiness then thine is a racist twice over for the mention of them. (see II)

VIII. The purveyors of words to the people shall cast only praise on the Obamassiah. To turn from this exposes thine as a racist and a soldier of the unbeliever and thine should be cast out and lose any source of livelihood.

IX. Thou shalt not question the patriotism of the Obamassiah. To do so exposes thine as a racist. For by not displaying any outward love for his land only proves his love for his land.

The Book of the Obamassiah
Chapter III

Those unenlightened to the truth, and the light, and the way of the Obamassiah shall cling to armaments and religions other than that of the Obamassiah and will mistrust his glory for they understand it not.

This is the word of the Obamassiah.
