I have been talking to my executive editor about exactly what content will be available. It seems that it will be either editorials attacking the Democrats for being the party of ‘maybe’ or recordings of snaggletoothie discussing current affairs, life, love, what lingerie is most arousing, history, mythopoeic thought, rubbish removal, why epistemology and ontology cannot be completely separated and the joys and pains of beauty along with topics of real general interest with the neighbor’s Siamese (we will soon be offering signed photos of SnookerPuss, suitable for framing). These recordings are said to give a rare insight into the human soul and virtually revolutionize our concepts of the human condition but mileage may vary.
If everything goes as planned we may also add a few recordings of snaggles in his critically acclaimed imitation of a Castrato performing the greatest hits of Boz Skaggs and The Osmonds. These unusual recordings have become beloved favorites of many of members of the House of Lords; find out why.
Also in the works is a biweekly story in serial form that will have two threads. One thread will follow working class kids who, because budgetary restraints have denied them entrance to a decent four year college, become pimps, prostitutes, drug dealers, practical nurses and barely competent bloggers. The other thread will show what is being done with the money that could have gone to educating these unfortunates. This might involve the story of a congressman and his cute young aid on a fact finding trip to Aruba including the secrets of how tax payer money squandered at the roulette wheel is covered up. There might be the story of the two large home additions presently being added to the primary residence of a UAW worker whose company is tottering toward bankruptcy. There will be a sidebar detailing how long some of the cars this guy has built have been sitting in the back of some dealer’s lot. There will also be the story of the only three cars he has worked on in the past two years that have been sold at a profit. .There had been attempts to out right give some of these rusters to ACORN and SEIU executives but they just found it funny that anyone could even conceive that power players such as themselves would drive American cars.
A brief side note. Work is continuing on our direct to YouTube documentary. It is titled, ‘Become a Practical Nurse or Reach You Full Potential: The Choice Is Yours.’ Our initial research shows that many high school guidance counselors feel that this is a story that must be told since quality of life is at stake. Our main complication at this point is the difficulty of finding practical nurses who will be honest about their limited licensure on camera. In some communities LPN is the new gay.
Our marketing department had considered giving free access to the premium content to high school AP students. But we have found that many of them are not in great financial need. Talks are underway with some cell phone companies to set up plans whereby high school students will be able to charge the cost of our premium material to their cell phone bills: win/win/win.

Conservatives seemed to be more accepting of differences and willing to listen and respond to others without attacking or belittling them.

The last thing Rathke wants to see is significant numbers of poor Americans raising themselves out of poverty. The powerlessness and needs of poor people is the only source of his power and wealth. And ACORN is a microcosm of the progressive wing of the Democrat party. The worse conditions are for the poor the better it is for them.
Their beastly attacks on blacks who are not a part of their gang yet are successful is an indication of how insecure and hyper defensive their dehumanizing position forces them to be. If they cannot enforce rigid and uncritical orthodoxy they are in constant danger of toppling.

Would it be going too far to say that Barack Obama has never seen a criminal he wants to slow down or punish? He has enjoyed the friendship of Tony Rezko and Bill Ayers. Way too many of the men he appointed to high office laughed while they broke tax laws and have yet to be called to answer for their crimes. Since we have only his questionable word to rely on we do not know the full extent and nature of his relations with ACORN. We do know that his campaign paid ACORN many hundreds of thousands of dollars to register voters and that an unusually large number of nonexistent people as well as sports stars and cartoon characters were delivered by ACORN as voters. But there has been no sign of a troubled conscience from the president. All this crime and we see not the least sign of embarrassment from the president. A high profile pedophile is at last being brought to justice and many prominent members of the president’s party flood us with an endless chain of weak excuses and fishy rationalizations for releasing the predator back onto society. So part of me is not surprised by Obama’s move to weaken our Southern border. I have to figure that Obama just doesn’t care if there will be increased crime near the border. Since I live less than a hundred miles from Mexico I do care. But I would think more Americans would care since this makes it so much easier for Muslim terrorists to enter the country and make large devastating explosions.

As near as I can tell Barack Obama is more concerned about the fairness of the voting on American Idol. But it is difficult to imagine a former employee of ACORN being in the least concerned about the democratic aspirations of any nation.

Obama and ACORN Reputations for Honesty Not Improving

That is a room full of talent. But I have put it here because it illustrates why lefties are so given to Orwellian double speak. The Fairness doctrine is anything but fair. The Employee Free Choice Act is about taking freedom away from employees. The Democrat Party is not democratic: the superdelagates have virtual veto power over any choice arrived at democratically. Obama’s transparency is apparently designed to keep information from the mass of citizens. Racism once meant one race feeling superior or oppressing other races but no longer seems to apply when whites are oppressed. These are just the first examples to come to mind.
Why does the left habitually resort to twisting language beyond recognition? I’m sure there are many reasons. One of the first that comes to mind is their lack of respect for rules and boundaries. I don’t think most of them even care that debasing the language weakens social order. Many might even be glad to participate in the destruction of society since the final conclusion of most every lefty thought process and action is anarchy. (But I’m not going to seriously delve into that here beyond the observation that their misuse of language is a destructive and nihilistic process.)
Alec Baldwin’s (and David Mamet‘s) ‘always be closing’ speech fits in because liberals often twist language for marketing purposes. If they were open and honest about employee free choice, the Fairness Doctrine and the nondemocratic process of the Democrat party they would be about as successful as the Green Party. But to paraphrase Alec B., “They're sitting out there waiting to give you their vote. Are you going to take it? Are you man enough to take it? Because someone else will.”
And some of the marketing involves convincing themselves they are in the right. A perfect example of this is Raskolnikov in Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment. He is a poor student suffering from dire poverty in Czarist Russia. He accepts the basic tenet of utilitarianism that whatever serves the greatest good for the greatest number of people is the highest good. He then takes this and manufactures a rationalization system whereby he feel justified in murdering a rich old woman. He reasons that he will take her wealth, become an engineer and help countless people thus more than wiping out the smaller evil of the one murder. How progressive! He has embraced the evil of murder with a mental trick and strangely enough his little transgression furnishes him with a bunch of money: how convenient. Rather like ACORN’s lax oversight led to forged voter registration forms and finally to many votes for Democrats while they mouth bromides about the democratic process or whatever.
A large web of lies are created to justify perverting the language, thereby speeding the dissolution of society. And the creators of the lies and perversions end up with lots of votes, money, power and a strangely inflated sense of moral superiority.
