The Beeb on the Election of Scott Brown

**********************************************
To find out what is going on they ask Howard Dean. Dean's analysis: Obama lost because he is not liberal enough. The newsreader/commentator seems inclined to feel that this loss will be seen as just a blip in a successful presidency. Dean remains impressed by Obama's intelligence. The Beeb once was worth seeking out and watching. But what's the point if they are just going to parrot our old, dying media?

Isn't Howard Dean getting more bizarre? I swear, he's more manic than he was before.

I saw him give virtually the same talking points over the weekend, it was absolutely ludicrous. I can't believe anyone takes him seriously. I used to be a dem (now an independent), and would listen to the BBC World News on NPR in the evening, but no more.

Dean might be more unstable but many people on the left have the same view of what happened. It is rather like the romantic but inaccurate myth of the chivalrous old South that many could not let go of after the Civil War.
