I LOVE Bix! So does my mom who told me about him. I was shocked to find out how many people never heard of him.

When i was a kid Bix was better known because that Kirk Douglas movie. 'Young Man With A Horn,' was said to be very loosely based on Bix's life. People don't watch that movie much anymore. Mainly, I think, because it's not that great a movie.
